16.05.2026 - 17.05.2026 On May 16 and 17, 2026, we invite everyone to the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus to celebrate World Bee Day! The Bee Festival, a celebration dedicated to the winged workers, will be held near the exhibition greenhouse on May 16 and 17 from 10:00 to 19:00. This weekend, everyone will be taught how to understand beekeeping products, use them usefully and enjoy it. Experienced beekeepers will tell you what awaits a person if there are no bees in the world, how to stay active at the age of 90, and how useful honey plants are on home plots. Children and adults will take part in quizzes, contests and workshops. The performances of soloists and creative teams will make the holiday bright and memorable. Honey prizes will be awarded to girls and boys in bee costumes. During the holiday, there will be exciting practices on making candles from wax and "Bee under the microscope", where you can look at these insects closer. And in the demonstration hive, everyone will be able to observe the bee family. A special campaign "Honey instead of sugar" will be held for children. A pleasant surprise for our guests will be an excursion to the apiary of the Central Botanical Garden at 17:00! Gathering place: the site at the exposition greenhouse.
