Modern crop production is increasingly using the achievements of biotechnology. One of the most striking examples is meristemic aquarium plants, which are grown in a laboratory and are biologically pure.

In our country, meristemic aquarium plants are not so common yet. Nevertheless, interest in them is steadily growing. In the Laboratory of Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology, we actively work with meristemic crops and see in them a prospect for both professional aquarists and amateurs who care about the condition of their aquarium.
