It is often used in aquascaping to create a dense green carpet in the foreground. It forms dense cushions of small round leaves. The plant is demanding to the conditions: it needs bright lighting, CO₂ supply and a nutrient substrate. If there is a lack of light or unstable parameters, it can stretch and lose its decorative effect. It is recommended to plant in small bundles at a distance of 1-2 cm. Ideal for small aquariums.
