18.10.2025 - 19.10.2025 On October 18-19, from 10:00 to 18:00, the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites you to the cactus and succulents exhibition "Cactus Mania"! While most plants are preparing for winter dormancy, some species of cacti (ariocarpus, neochilenia, neoporteria, eriosice) are blooming in all their glory! Only on October 18 and 19 you will have a unique opportunity to get to the exhibition of cacti and succulents, where collectors from all over Belarus will present more than 3,000 plants! Also, during the days of the exhibition, the doors to the closed collection fund of the Central Botanical Garden will open from 11:00 to 17:00! Visitors will have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with our collection of cacti and succulents, which includes more than 900 specimens. The variety of species, shapes and varieties presented will not leave anyone indifferent! The exhibition will bring together real masters of cactus farming. Don't miss the chance to get valuable advice on plant care directly from professionals! The exhibition will be an eye-opener for both connoisseurs and newcomers to the world of cacti. The exhibition will feature: decorative succulents, including hybrids of kalanchoe, echeverium, haworthium, gasterium, euphorbia, and lithops; seed samples of some cactus species; succulents that can live in the air in the complete absence of a substrate are tilandsia. On Saturday, October 18, the first 100 visitors to the exhibition will be able to try their luck – there will be a distribution of rooms at the entrance, several of which are lucky. The collectors have prepared special surprises for them! As part of the exhibition, on Sunday, October 19, at 11:00 a.m., a thematic workshop for children and adults on cactus vaccinations will be held, where participants will have the opportunity to perform a real plant grafting operation and receive a special bonus.
