The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites you to the flowering of lilac and rhododendron collections!

Guided tours of the lilac and rhododendron collections with scientific staff will be held from May 21 to 24.

Guided tours of the lilac collection

Syringarium is one of the most visited expositions in the spring period. The creation of the lilac collection began in 1933. The formation of syringaria began in the 60s. The collection contains varieties of domestic and world breeding. In 2011, the lilac collection of the Central Botanical Garden received international recognition. Currently, it has more than 200 varieties. The varieties of our own breeding are of particular value in the collection.

The tour duration is 45 minutes.

Guided tours of the rhododendron collection

Rhododendrons are quite widespread around the globe. The formation of the rhododendron collection in the Central Botanical Garden began in the mid-60s of the last century. Currently, the collection contains about 80 species and more than 140 varieties of rhododendrons and all known garden groups are represented. In recent years, the collection has been actively replenished with new varieties, including its own selection.

The tour duration is 45 minutes.
