06.03.2025 - 16.03.2025 From March 6 to March 16, 2025, the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites you to the EXHIBITION of SPRING FLOWERS "Breath of Spring"! Delicate, exquisite and fragile flowers of blooming bulbous plants on the eve of the March 8 holiday will be a wonderful gift for all charming women. Floral arrangements will delight with bright colors and charming aromas. Among them are graceful hyacinths, delicate crocuses, sunny daffodils and, of course, charming tulips. This year, more than 80 varieties of tulips and 20 varieties of daffodils will be presented. You will surely be delighted by the variety presented! Tulips are terry, similar to a rose or a peony, parrot–like plumage of birds, lily–colored with a rainbow palette of colors! Daffodils are terry, tacetiform (with a bright smell) and large-horned! The compositions will feature delicate small-bulbous plants, as well as flowering branches of lilac. Blooming lilacs of the Moonlight, Pearl, Memory of Kolesnikov, Hydrangea, Cosmos, Peacock, Fountain, Marie Legrey, Monique Lemoine and others will undoubtedly enchant with their beauty and incredible aromas. Exhibition opening hours: from 10:00 to 17:00 and from 19:00 to 21:00, EXCEPT MONDAYS. Venue: exhibition pavilion. Within the framework of the EXHIBITION, meetings with scientific staff and curators of collections will be held only on March 7, 8 and 9 from 12:00 to 13:00. At the meeting you will find out: • how to preserve bulbs after flowering; • which varieties are better to choose for "distillation"; • agrotechnics of bulbous cultivation. Without prior appointment. Paintings and panels of butterflies collected from different parts of the world will delight with their brightness, diversity and sophistication. Here you can see day and night butterflies, inhabitants of tropical forests and the polar tundra, giants and dwarfs, famous and recently discovered species, poisonous butterflies and travelers, the rarest and most expensive, symbol butterflies and mascot butterflies. The exhibits are artistically decorated in the form of paintings with a baguette.
