29.10.2024 - 03.11.2024 The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites schoolchildren for autumn holidays. From October 26 to November 3, 2024, we offer organized groups a tour of the exhibition greenhouse "Giant Plants". Among the huge variety of tropical plants, large trees, long vines and incredibly tall grasses stand out. Many of these plants in nature can reach more than 50 meters in height. On the excursion "Giant Plants" in the Exhibition Greenhouse, we will show and tell the children about the giants of the desert - Euphorbia, ancient Magnolia and Ginkgo. We will introduce the real giants of the tropical forest - Ficus and, of course, the majestic Palms! The atmosphere of the tropics is complemented by the funny inhabitants of the greenhouse - parrots, colorful koi carp and red-eared turtles.
