26.11.2024 - 01.12.2024 From November 26 to December 1, 2024, from 10:00 to 17:00, the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will host the exhibition of Ikebana of the Sogetsu school "Colors of Autumn"! You will be able to touch the art of Ikebana in the exhibition pavilion of the botanical garden. The exhibition will feature works on the Japanese art of flower arrangement and ink painting by SUMIE, dedicated to autumn themes. The Hagakure Center for Japanese Culture will present the compositions of the ikebana of the Sogetsu school (grass and moon), which is the most popular ikebana school, both in Japan and around the world. This school was founded in 1927 in Tokyo by the unsurpassed master Sofu Teshigahara. Its distinctive feature is, first of all, working with living natural materials and combining with other types of art. Unique floral arrangements created by members of the Ikebana Club and graduates of the Sogetsu School, reflecting the harmony and philosophy of Japanese culture, will be presented to your attention. As part of the exhibition, on November 30 at 13:00, a lecture will be held in the exposition greenhouse: "IKEBANA – the Japanese art of flower arrangement". Without an appointment.
