05.12.2024 - 08.12.2024 On December 5, 6, 7 and 8, 2024, the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites you to a workshop on cyanotype "The Magic of Blue"! With the help of cyanotype technique, everyone will be able to learn magic lessons and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of light magic! Cyanotype is a spectacular and unusual way of decorating. It is a silverless printing process that was invented by John Herschel back in 1842. This is a technology for obtaining images of blue and blue shades, which creates a monochrome blue print. One of the most popular motifs in cyanotype is plants. The magical combination of white and blue colors is always fascinating. Unusual pictures for New Year's souvenirs become even more valuable when they are created with their own hands. At the workshop, you will be able to create a handmade souvenir product, a postcard or a magnet with a New Year theme. Dates of the workshops: December 5, 6, 7, 8, 2024.
