The collection of roses of the Central Botanical Garden currently includes 260 varieties belonging to 18 garden groups. Tea-hybrid and floribunda roses predominate. The beginning of the collection was in the 50s. The rose garden covers an area of 1 hectare. In the exposition part of the rose garden, the varieties are planted in groups, the height and color range of the plants are taken into account. A large number of groups and varieties belong to Modern roses, but special attention is paid to old Garden roses, which were created by the 19th century.
