Treasures of nature! Guided tour of the exhibition of rare and protected plants

17.07.2025 - 18.07.2025
On July 17 and 18, the Central Botanical Garden invites you to a guided tour of the exposition of rare and protected plants dedicated to summer-flowering plants.

The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is the only place in the country where a scientific collection of rare and protected plants included in the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus is collected. The specially equipped site contains more than 130 endangered species, many of which are unique to the flora of Belarus. Among them are extremely rare relict plants of forests, swamps, meadows and reservoirs, and even plants that have already disappeared on the territory of our country.

During the tour you will be able to:
  • see many endangered plants of the Belarusian nature (majestic chistoust, dioecious volzhanka, European bed bug, broadleaf gladysh and many others);
  • communicate with researchers who study and preserve endangered plant species;
  • learn interesting facts about protected plants, their value and the need for protection.
