04.02.2021 - 07.02.2021 The State Scientific Institution "Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus", with the support of the Pervomaisky District Administration of Minsk, continuing the traditions and supporting its own initiative, cordially invites Minsk residents and guests of the capital to the 6th Festival-Competition of Ice and Snow Sculptures "World of Crystals". The festival will be held from February 4 to 7, 2021. Eight teams of professional sculptors and ten student teams from specialized faculties of state educational institutions will take part in the festival. The grand opening of the 6th Festival-Competition of Snow and Ice Sculptures will take place on February 6, 2021 at 15.00. It includes: a ceremonial presentation of ice sculptures to the public; summing up the results of the festival-competition; visitors will be able to vote for their favorite sculpture in the nomination "Audience Award"; Awarding of Diplomas for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the festival-competition; musical surprise; entertaining quiz and competitions with prizes; musical pyrotechnic show at 19:00. The guides of the botanical garden will conduct fascinating excursions "Phytoplants in our home". The sculptures are equipped with lighting, so they are especially beautiful in the evening. On February 6, 2021, the ticket office is open until 19:00, the exhibition greenhouse is open until 20:00.
